My name is Heath Mullikin.  I had been in youth ministry for 12 years with a beautiful wife and 3 awesome kids.  In the summer of 2009 I felt like something was missing.  It was a feeling that gnawed at my soul and was a feeling that I was growing too familiar with.  I spent much of the summer traveling on various ministry opportunities and searching for answers and solutions to this feeling.  I was looking for my lion.  After much prayer, chase your lion dot com was born.  The mission of this site and my life is to help people discover their purpose, passion, and possibilities.  God is allowing me to use my passions to fulfill His purpose for my life and this journey has opened up numerous possibilities.  My prayer is that lion chasing will become a movement that will energize and mobilize Christians and churches to stop settling for normal.  This will also be a place where lion chasing stories will be told, shared, and spread. In the summer of 2010, I was given an opportunity to “Chase My Lion” and become the Senior Pastor of Oakway Wesleyan Church in Westminster, SC. It has been an amazing journey so far and God continues to help us with every new challenge we face.
