My Story

My name is Heath Mullikin.  I have been in youth ministry for 12 years and have a beautiful wife and 3 awesome kids.  This summer I felt like something was missing.  It was a feeling that gnawed at my soul and was a feeling that I was growing too familiar with.  I spent much of the summer traveling on various ministry opportunities and searching for answers and solutions to this feeling.  I was looking for my lion.  After much prayer, chase your lion dot com was born.  The mission of this site and my life is to help people discover their purpose, passion, and possibilities.  God is allowing me to use my passions to fulfill His purpose for my life and this journey has opened up numerous possibilities.  My prayer is that lion chasing will become a movement that will energize and mobilize Christians and churches to stop settling for normal.  This will also be a place where lion chasing stories will be told, shared, and spread.
